India Christian Missions

We're a Christian mission that supports local church-planting leaders across India, Nepal, and Sri Lanka — some of the least-reached places on earth. We don't send outsiders in; we equip and support the men and women who already live there, speak the language, and are reaching their own communities.

In India alone, someone enters eternity every few seconds — and for the overwhelming majority, it happens without ever hearing the good news of Jesus. The name is a reminder of why this work can't wait.

These regions hold some of the largest populations on earth who have never heard the gospel, alongside real and growing barriers to it. The need and the opportunity are both enormous.

Local believers reach further, stay longer, and build something lasting. They already understand the culture and language, they can go places outsiders can't, and the churches they plant are led by their own communities — able to keep growing long after any one person is gone. It's also far more cost-effective.

It equips and supports local leaders — training, resources, and the practical means to keep doing the work: sharing the gospel, making disciples, and planting house churches that go on to plant others.

Carefully, and conservatively. We report only what our own supported leaders see on the ground, we lead with baptisms rather than decisions because they're the truer measure, and we'd always rather understate than overstate. You can read our full approach on our How We Count article.

Because in many of the places we serve, following Jesus is dangerous — and being publicly identified as a believer or a leader can cost someone their family, livelihood, or safety. Protecting identities isn't for effect; it's how we keep real people out of harm's way while still telling the truth about what's happening.

The stories and the work are real. To protect the people involved, images are presented in ways that safeguard identities. We're committed to being honest with you and protective of them at the same time.
